Prabha Krishna serves as the Director, Senior Yoga Therapist, and Lifestyle Consultant at Yogabharati Foundation. Passionate about healing and transforming lives, she conducts a wide range of wellness events, training programs, and workshops, both online and in-person.
A lifelong yoga student, she has been mentored for over two decades by esteemed stalwarts of Yoga Raghuramji and Dr. Nagarathna. With over 22 years of teaching experience in research-based therapeutic yoga, she specializes in managing Disc herniated cases, pelvic instability, sacroiliac dysfunction, shoulder and neck pain, joint instability, pregnancy-related conditions, and more. In her therapeutic yoga classes, she integrates her deep understanding of anatomy, the use of props inspired by the Iyengar yoga style, and the holistic teachings from VYASA (Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana). This comprehensive approach allows her to provide tailored therapeutic treatments for individuals with various health conditions, ensuring a well-rounded and effective healing experience.As an internationally certified ERYT200 and YACEP trainer, Prabha not only teaches yoga but also mentors aspiring yoga trainers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to excel in their practice. She also conducts advanced training courses for yoga teachers, ensuring continuous professional development and skill enhancement.
Prabha's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Pharmacy, providing her with a strong foundation for blending scientific rigor with holistic wellness practices. In addition to her expertise in yoga, she has completed courses in holistic nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating these ancient healing systems into personalized lifestyle consultations.
Her commitment to inclusivity and community shines through her work as a mythology storyteller, where she uses engaging narratives to impart values to children. She also works closely with children with autism, ADHD, and other special needs, using stories, art, and yoga to inspire and guide them. As a certified Laughter Yoga teacher, she frequently conducts sessions to promote joy and emotional well-being among the public. Additionally, Prabha is a Licensed Heal Your Life Registered Workshop Leader, rooted in the transformative philosophies of Louise Hay, empowering individuals on their journey to healing and self-discovery.
