Chethana Kamath is a B.Tech graduate and has worked as a Telecom Engineer for more than 8 years. Her journey with yoga began as a means to fitness, but then slowly she realized it to be much more than that. Intrigued, she decided to get a more formal background in the practice and thus began her association with Yoga Bharati. This led to a positive transformation in her life which was a pleasant surprise to her. Through this association, she got a better understanding of the philosophy of yoga.
She has completed RYT 200 (International Yoga alliance) and Post-graduation in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA. She has been teaching yoga since 2017 and conducts classes for positive health, kids' yoga and yoga therapy. She has delivered therapy sessions for back-knee pain, anxiety issues, prenatal, hypertension problems, frozen shoulder and diabetes.
She actively participates as an instructor in many of the programs conducted by Yoga Bharati like the International Yoga Day, Pranayama series, Restorative yoga sessions, Yoga Nidra. She has done short term courses on Yoga Nidra and Spine management also.
Chethana finds teaching, a learning experience, and this is what has kept her motivated. She derives her satisfaction, when her students achieve better health, happiness and relaxation through her practices. Her goal is to spread her knowledge to others and have them benefit from it. Her interests are cooking, and she enjoys a good walk in nature.
