Chethana Kamath is a Yoga Therapist and holistic wellness practitioner. What began as a journey towards physical fitness gradually evolved into a deep exploration of yoga as a holistic way of life. Inspired by its profound impact on her own well-being, she pursued formal training with Yoga Bharati, an experience that transformed her understanding of yoga beyond physical postures into a philosophy for healthy and balanced living.
Chethana is an RYT 200 certified Yoga Teacher (International Yoga Alliance) and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy from SVYASA. She has been teaching yoga since 2017, offering classes in positive health, children's yoga, and therapeutic yoga. She has successfully guided individuals with conditions such as back and knee pain, hypertension, anxiety, frozen shoulder, diabetes, and prenatal health through personalized yoga therapy.
An active instructor at Yoga Bharati, Chethana has contributed to numerous wellness initiatives, including International Yoga Day programs in schools and corporate organizations, Pranayama workshops, Restorative Yoga sessions, and Yoga Nidra programs. She has further enriched her expertise through specialized training in Yoga Nidra, Spine Management, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation, Holistic Nutrition, and Psychological Competencies.
With over fifteen years of dedicated Iyengar Yoga practice, Chethana continues to deepen her understanding of yoga through lifelong learning. She believes that every teaching experience is an opportunity to learn and grow. Witnessing her students achieve improved health, inner peace, and greater confidence is her greatest source of inspiration. She strives to empower individuals to embrace a healthier, happier, and more balanced life. Beyond yoga, she finds joy and rejuvenation in long walks amidst nature and enjoys art therapy.
