Keerthi has been an active Yoga Instructor with Yoga Bharati from the year 2018. Having finished her YIC, from Yoga Bharati, she completed a special course on managing diabetes with yoga. She completed RYT 500 hours in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. A teacher by profession, her teaching skills have helped to deliver her classes effectively. She conducts group classes for positive well-being at Yoga Bharati Centres, and headed the YB Brindavan Centre for more than two years.
She has experience of conducting exclusive chair yoga sessions for seniors, yoga for kids with special needs, given individual classes for participants according to their health needs, and has achieved excellent results in helping her participants manage diabetes and hypertension with yoga. She also conducts yoga sessions organized by Yoga Bharati for various public events.
Keerthi started attending yoga classes with a casual approach, but over the period of time, she realized it to be very beneficial, as she noticed herself building strength, and getting relieved from severe back pain. This motivated her to take up the instructor course, and now with her learning, spreading the knowledge of yoga in the best possible way she can. She blends all the aspects of Ashtanga Yoga in her classes, to help the participants not only grow in their physical strength but also there is an overall development of the person mentally, emotionally and spiritually, which is what yoga is all about. She maintains a lively class atmosphere where-in her participants are not only challenged but also feel safe, supported and encouraged, at the same time, being sensitive to their strengths and limitations.
She is good at giving different relaxation techniques, conducting meditation, building mind body awareness, emphasizing on proper alignment, and has also helped people get relief from back pain and stress. Her good instruction skills add to her strength.
A calm person by nature, a good listener, and being a constant learner, she includes her learnings in her practice as well as in her classes. Always maintained a positive relationship, with a compassionate approach towards her participants, trying to address their concerns immediately to the best of her knowledge. A firm believer and follower of Karma Yoga concept, she continues on her journey of yoga passionately.
