Mukund Magge is academically a Mechanical Engineer and has been a corporate Manufacturing Engineer professional for over 35 years.
He decided to move out of the ‘rat-race’ of working in multinational organisations and join Yoga Bharati in 2016.
He took up yoga to slowly nurse himself back to better health from several lifestyle disorders. His realisation was ‘the medicine to heal YOU is within YOU’. He has been practising yoga for the past 17 years and is a Yoga Bharati-trained (YIC 2016 batch) yoga teacher. His interest in learning the depths of Yoga led him to pursue MSc-Yoga at S-VYASA University.
He conducts yoga sessions online and in centres of Yogabharati.
He frequently consults participants to adopt a yogic lifestyle and regularly engages in short talks and sessions on yoga awareness for corporate companies and groups, educational institutions etc. He also teaches yoga (part-time) in schools. He feels teaching children is a wonderful path to learn and progress.
He is a qualified Yoga therapist and attends to patients with Cardiac issues, Parkinsonism, back and neck pain issues, gastrointestinal problems, anxiety-depression issues, with personalised sessions. His favourite quote is, ‘Yujyate anena iti yogah’ - Yoga is the joining of a lower principle with a higher principle. Yoga is making spiritual progress each day. He is also a faculty member in our yoga teacher training courses.
He is also a professional Manufacturing Excellence consultant.
His passions include social activities, Farming, Cooking, Trekking, reading spiritual books, self-help books and mentoring young minds. His amateur interests are music, writing, and compering events.
