Vidya Ramani’s journey is a testament to transformation and passion. After a successful 15+ years' career in the corporate IT sector, with esteemed organizations such as TCS and IBM, Vidya sought a deeper sense of balance and peace. This quest led her to leave behind her corporate role and immerse herself in the world of yoga. She began her journey at Yogabharati, where she discovered the profound impact yoga could have on both mental and physical well-being. It was in 2016 that she was introduced to the Yoga Instructor Course, marking the beginning of a new and fulfilling chapter in her life.
Upon completing her training at Yogabharati, Vidya embraced her new path wholeheartedly. She began offering yoga classes at various venues, including YB centers, NGOs, government schools, community centers, and colleges. As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) certified by Yoga Alliance, and a Yoga Teacher and Evaluator recognized by the Yoga Certification Board under the Ayush Ministry of India, Vidya has established herself as a dedicated and skilled instructor.
Her guiding philosophy, “Heal Thyself and Others,” inspired her to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT) at SVYASA University. Vidya specializes in therapeutic yoga, addressing a range of conditions including back pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, oncology-related issues, diatbetes, shoulder and neck pain, joint instability, psychotic disorders, and other diverse health challenges. Her commitment to continuous learning has also led her to train in the Iyengar style of yoga, enhancing her expertise.
In her role at Yogabharati, Vidya handles sessions within the Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) curriculum and serves as a Course Coordinator and faculty member. Her academic background includes a postgraduate degree in Computer Applications and completion of various short-term courses such as Sacroiliac Dysfunction, Emotional Well-being, Emotional Freedom Therapy, and Thought Field Therapy. She has conducted 100 sessions of Pranayama to the public as a giving back to the society initiative.
Beyond her qualifications and teaching roles, Vidya is also a Pranic Healer, reflecting her deep commitment to holistic wellness. Her passion for yoga and its myriad branches drives her to continually expand her knowledge and skills. Outside of her professional pursuits, Vidya enjoys cooking, chanting slokas, listening to music, and traveling, enriching her life and practice with diverse experiences.
