The Science Behind Mudras:
The mudras work on the principle of Pancha Bhutas, with specific mudras focussing on improving immunity, minimizing respiratory issues, and others. Consistent practice stimulates glands, nerves, and vital organs, paving the way for a healthy life. By balancing the five elements in the body, mudras address the root cause of most diseases, strengthening the immune system and promoting holistic healing.

Vijaya Hariharan is the Head, Academic division of Yoga Bharati. She is also a Senior Yoga Therapist with over 20+ years of teaching experience. She is a ERYT200, YACEP from Yoga alliance, Yoga Teacher and Evaluator from Yoga certification Board under Ayush Ministry, India. She has been guiding participants in different psychosomatic ailments like muscular dystrophy, women’s health issues, cancer, and mental health conditions. She also conducts prenatal sessions and guides her participants on lifestyle changes as per Yogic texts.
